Affordable Luxury... I don’t know what these cars cost in 2002 but here’s a luxury sedan with every bell and whistle you could buy for the year that is a pleasure to drive. The car shows S500 on the back but AutoCheck and hood sticker show its indeed an S430, for what it's worth... Mechanically the car runs very well with a quiet and strong V8 motor, no apparent leaks underneath, suspension sits level and transmission shifts right on time through the gears. It goes without saying that the SRS light is on as we see in most Mercedes cars. The ABS light is on and the steering wheel is off-center about 15 degrees so you’ll be ready for an alignment in the future. You have current NJ inspection through January 2019. The interior is very healthy with clean power and heated leather seats that don’t show any rips or tears, carpets are immaculate and original mats are in the trunk, headliner is tight and dash looks great. All the power buttons work as they should including factory navigation and stereo. There are no bad odors inside of any kind. The body looks presentable with shiny silver paint, no dents, nice factory wheels and straight bumpers. There are a handful of nicks, dings, and scratches and the door bottoms and lower corners of the quarter panels show rust bubbling. If you were looking for a full-size luxury sedan to enjoy for a fraction of the cost that is ready to hit the key and enjoy, this one will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. The majority of our cars come from the local new car dealerships just as they are traded from their previous owners. We sell exclusively on eBay auction to other dealers and the general public and advertise them in their as-is state as we would sell to another used car dealer. We have since sold over 6000 cars in this fashion. As is the case with all our cars, we don’t clean them, we don’t repair them, and try to describe them to the best of our ability. We don’t pull the wheels to check the brakes but drive them to determine what we feel is wrong. If dash lights are on, we tell you and if they are not on and come on for you on your trip home, it is your responsibility as our cars are sold AS-IS. If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. Wholesale & Prior to Re-Conditioning The cars you see on our eBay auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins” from the new car dealers. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 60 day plates. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items. State fees apply. “0” feedback bidders should call or email prior to placing your bid We do not want to discourage you from bidding, only to verify that you are serious! Without this contact your bid will be cancelled. Payment If you are a winning bidder, kindly contact me via email immediately at the end of the auction for verification. Our requirements are that the high bidder should pay an immediate deposit of $500 via PayPal upon completion of the auction and the car should be paid in full within 7 days via cashiers check, cash if in person or money order. The deposit can also be made over the phone via MasterCard or Visa; however, payment in full cannot be made with a credit card or PayPal.
